අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක , Anura Kumara Dissanayake) නවවන විධායක ජනාධිපති; 1968 නොවැම්බර් 24 උපන් ඔහු ශ්‍රී ලාංකික දේශපාලනඥයෙකි. ඔහු කොළඹ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු සිටි අතර, ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ (2004 සිට) සහ ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ (2019 සිට) වත්මන් පක්ෂ නායකයා වේ. 2019 වසරේ හිටපු ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකයෙකු වන ඔහු 2024 ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජනාධිපතිවරණය සඳහා ජාතික ජන බලවේගයේ ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකයා ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් වී ඡන්ද 5634915 ලබා, වැඩි ඡන්දයෙන් ශ්‍රි ලංකාවේ නවවන විධායක ජනාධිපතිවරයා ලෙස තේරී පත්විය.

දේශපාලන ජීවිතය

1995 දී ඔහු සමාජවාදී ශිෂ්‍ය සංගමයේ ජාතික සංවිධායක බවට පත් වූ අතර ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ මධ්‍යම කෘත්‍යාධිකාරී මණ්ඩලයට පත් විය. ඔහු 1998 දී ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ දේශපාලන මණ්ඩලයට පත් විය. සෝමවංශ අමරසිංහ යටතේ යළි ප්‍රධාන ධාරාවේ දේශපාලනයට පිවිසි ජවිපෙ 1994 ශ්‍රී ලංකා පාර්ලිමේන්තු මැතිවරණයේ දී චන්ද්‍රිකා කුමාරතුංගට සහාය දුන්නේය.

ඔහු 2004දී සන්ධාන ආණ්ඩුවේ කෘෂිකර්ම, ඉඩම්, වාරිමාර්ග, සහ පශු සම්පත් අමාත්‍යවරයා වශයෙන් කටයුතු කළේය.

2019 ජනාධිපතිවරණය

දිසානායක තම 2019 ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකයා බව ජාතික ජන බලවේග ව්‍යාපාරය 2019 අගෝස්තු 18 දින නිවේදනය කළේය.

Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Anura Kumara Dissanayake

Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Anura Kumara Dissanayake (born 24 November 1968), commonly referred to by his initials AKD, is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as the tenth president of Sri Lanka since 2024. He is the current party leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and the National People's Power.

Dissanayake has been involved with the JVP since his school days and was active in student politics at university before joining the JVP politburo in 1995. He has been a member of parliament since September 2000, having been either appointed from the national list or elected, Dissanayake served as the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation from 2004 to 2005 and Chief Opposition Whip from 2015 to 2018. He was named the leader of JVP at the 17th National Convention of the party, held on 2 February 2014.

• JVP Politburo

In 1995, he became the National Organizer of the Socialist Students Association and was appointed to the Central Working Committee of the JVP. He was appointed to the Politburo of the JVP in 1998. The JVP supported Chandrika Kumaratunga in the 1994 Sri Lankan parliamentary election, having re-entered mainstream politics under Somawansa Amarasinghe. However, the party later became vocal critics of the Kumaratunga administration.

• JVP party leader

On 2 February 2014, during the 17th National Convention of the JVP, Dissanayake was named as the new leader of the JVP, succeeding Somawansa Amarasinghe.

• 2019 presidential election

On 18 August 2019, the National People's Power, a political organization led by the JVP, announced that Dissanayake would be its presidential candidate in the 2019 presidential elections. Dissanayake came in third place with 3% of the vote, receiving 418,553 votes.
